Description
Migration is not new, but the last few decades have seen ever-increasing flows of people – over 244 million migrants now live around the world, with the majority of movement taking place in Africa and Asia. More than half of global population growth between now and 2050 is set to occur in Africa, increasing pressure on economic and environmental systems and challenging the management of borders. This event explores how economic and political leaders can collaborate and prepare today to unlock the opportunities offered by migration. This event is part of the official programme of the World Economic Forum Annual Meeting at Davos. A recording is available to view below.
